Description
Employment Consultants teach skills, reinforce learned skills, and set up accommodations and/or compensatory techniques to increase the client’s independence and ability to meet their employer's expectations. We specialize in facilitating support and guidance for clients who face unique professional challenges. Employment Consultants use their experience to identify both job and career advancement opportunities for clients based on their needs, objectives, and skill sets. Our Consultants assist clients in identifying and enhancing their job skills.
Requirements

(Preferred) Bachelor's degree or 60 hours of college credit in Psychology, Sociology (experience may be considered instead)

Experience in working with people with disabilities

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Problem-solving aptitude

Ability to inspire and motivate

MA in social studies or similar relevant field

Completed or able to immediately complete UNTWISE Job Skill Training credential.
